lunch time is actually just starting ... so it will likely be posted in the next hour. I am on california time too and it JUST started aout 2 minutes ago.

just look at guildwars.com and hit the refresh button every 5 minutes ... unless, like me, some of you actually do work for a living (bitching doesnt count hijackers ... ) in which case Im good to check back every so often. I know all my names are chosen already so its not like any of you really should make an effort.

I sent in 'nash the nagger', 'dirty odd sock', 'smacktalk skeezer blue' and a few unmentioned ... im sure they never picked this one 'patience is a virtue' or 'crybabies bane'

Well, it's tough to translate those characters.

Personally I kinda like Garbok Handsmasher. "Ow! My hand! You smashed my hand! That really hurts! Why did you do that? Seriously, my hand dude!"

First, I am not PR, I am CR. There's a difference.

Second, by whose standards can you state, not as an opinion, but as fact, that you've "waited quite long enough?" Your standards? Ours? The man in the moon's? This process does not allow putting an exact timer on waiting, and the waiting is a necessary part of the process. For after all, the objective is to build the best improvements possible, test them, incorporate them, and then listen again for feedback, suggestions, and other comments of value. And the matter of value is important to note. We intend to assure that what we do has value and worth to the PvP player. But honestly, what has no value whatever is yet another post with unrealistic demands and angry complaints. We won't be talking about what's coming at this point. We're sorry, but that's just the way it will be. We may be able to speak about it very soon, but not today.

Please understand that we have a full team working on PvP issues. No one cares more than we do; no one wants PvP to be as close to perfect as we can get it. Players have hours invested in Guild Wars; we have years. And because of that, and because of such qualities as professionalism and experience, we're not going to rush changes out the door, or make predictive announcements, or compromise on the number or the value of new inclusions and changes.

I'm sorry that you're impatient and I fully understand the desire for more information. But a harsh tone, demands, and assertions of unacceptability just aren't appropriate. Thank you for (hopefully) understanding that.

I can't help it; every time I read Wroth Yakslapper I giggle. My team members have started saying, "Uh oh, Gaile's been reading the contest winner list again."

You tell 'em Gaile! I hope the impatient ones and the complainers don't get you down too much. Just know that there are those out there who eagerly await the content update and think that ArenaNet is doing a bang-up job responding to community suggestions and game balance issues. Keep up the good work!

Gaile, any thoughts at ANet about a constant resupply for the merchants?

Thanks for all...

Thanks, that's very nice to hear. Sort of a balance for the day.

Funny you should ask, I was just clipping in a forum post this very minute to ask about supply and demand, costs, hording and the whole nine yards. I want to learn more myself, and hopefully will be able to share some information about this in the near future. People are busy: Meetings, design discussions and so forth. But I hope to know more soon and will share as I'm able.

Nature's Renewal was clearly identified more than a long time ago, why hasn't it been fixed ? Fertile Season affecting itself and other spirits was identified during the last BWE when Blood Eagle made a grief build and actually fought the dev team with it. Why hasn't that been changed ? Sorry to ruin your day with cold hard facts. Letting these two issues is clearly destroying PvP especially in a Tombs environment.

We're not asking rushes, we're asking for changes to problems that were adressed a long time ago (long being relative to the online and gaming world time scale). I agree with you, rushing can lead to some problems but so can procrastinating or focusing efforts in the wrong areas of the game. Sorrow's Furnace's hype will be over in roughly two weeks. In the meanwhile PvP which is supposed to be the focus of this game is decaying rapidly and needs alot more attention and care than an explorable area.

P.S.: could you let in people who actually know something AND play PvP back into the alpha test please ?

In the end, only one word to describe this...

BURN!

Also, there is a special place in hell for people who use the word carebear in reference to online game preferences.

I didn't care for the two Flesh<suffix> names... too close to each other I think. But ANet more than redeemed itself with the Forgerunner and Yakslapper. I'm gonna chuckle uncontrollably every time I kill either of those guys.

There's another thread (also started by MSecorsky) with the list of winner here: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=45707

Also, Odd Sock, can you refrain from baiting Gaile, or hijacking this and other threads. Find a more appropriate place to ask your questions. They're questions worthy of answers, but not in this thread.
